The Barnes County Historical Society was founded in 1930 on the third floor of the Barnes County Courthouse by several organizations, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Pioneer Club, the GAR and WRC. It's nice to be able to share my parents story.. They both were born and grew up in Valley City, Dad was born in 4-7-1927 and Mom in 4-26-1929.

Great museum to visit in Valley City, ND. Currently home to the "Worlds Largest & most complete Triceratops, BOB!" He was excavated right here in North Dakota. Open 7 days a week.

A must see on every trip to Valley City. Love the player piano, trains, jukebox, and more! Kids love it!
