New American with a French accent: almond-stuffed dates, goat cheese brûlée, and barmarché Cuban burger are faves. Chandeliers hang in Lucite boxes over French salon digs in the tiny dining room. Difficult to get seated on the weekend, but cuisine and cozy setup are worth the Saturday afternoon waits.

A neighborhood staple has closed. And we do not know why! It was open just a week ago. Sigh. The truffle risotto was fantastic. Always a good vibe and usually hard to walk-in and get a table. No news. And the phone lines are out of service. Sigh
It's been a while since I've been to a restaurant with such attentive service that wasn't so overbearing that I couldn't hold a conversation. It was perfect. The ambiance is great here to; perfect to spilt a bottle of a wine with a date. As a tip, don't come here if you haven't eaten all day.
