I recommend, this is a really good hotel, and you can play casinos !
You can't fault the location of this hotel. It's right on the busiest corner of the Strip, smack in the middle of the action. A sad day when Bill's closes. I am sure the new property will be amazing, but this was an institution with Drais and all. Oh well. Onward and upward.
For the central Strip location, Bill's usually has some of the cheapest rooms around. The neo-Victorian rooms are in much better repair than say, the Imperial Palace hotel rooms up the street. This place fills up fast, so make your reservations in advance. Also expect some construction noise and annoyance throughout the rest of 2012 while the LINQ outdoor entertainment complex is being built.
