A fantastic, cozy spot for some great Italian cooking. This is one of our favorites in a region that sports some of the best food in the country. The spaghetti and meatballs are to die for. I am a New Orleans Native and when i heard Gonzales had an Italian joint in town that had Muffelattas...i ran there! I was quite sceptecal about ordering a "grilled" Muffelatta, but let me just say, it was the best one i have ever had!!! With the ham being grilled, it brought the smoky flavor out and was just fantastic...Central Grocery needs to envy these guys!
