Banfield in Monroe NC, butchered my dog when doing her surgery. I was so horrified i took my dog to an emergency pet hospital and had them look at the open wound left by the doctor. One of the staff member told me it looked like a ""hack job"" and recommended another place to go.

When i finally had the manager speak to me and the doctor as well they said they had spoken to the other hospital staff and that they said they had never made those comments.

I have pictures as proof of a brutal surgery that looks like it was done with a hacksaw. NEVER AGAIN.

The vets and pet nurses are very skilled and caring. The front desk is very considerate and helpful..... We have all of our pets on Banfield's wellness plans, which is a great value with comprehensive medical care. We have low monthly payments which cover all vaccinations, spay/neuter (if applicable), various exams, dewormer, and gives us 10%+ off of other services & procedures from them. Their flea medicines are as good (if not cheaper) than petmeds....... Everything they do they tell you the cost upfront (not just an ""estimate"") and discuss why they recommend a certain course of action...
