I went to this gym for 5 months as I stayed in San Jose for job training. Well this gym is good because of the location. Its smack dab in the middle of san jose and overlooks the main tourist area of downtown however this particular Ballys is Very small. Probably the smallest ballys out of the 3 I have been to so far. Down stairs is some cardio equipment, a gymnasium, and a cool boxing area...
Right downtown in the middle of all the activity, but inside it feels like a calm oasis. House of Siam has an elegant Thai-style setting & delicious Thai food. The menu includes all the classic curries, pad thai, etc., & you can ask for any level of spice (I like it hot!). The service is attentive, if reserved. Some nights there is very nice live music.
