This gym is the WORST in the whole city! Like so many big gyms, this one is a total con. I signed up with them two years ago, with the promotion that they would take one-third off the full membership price. Of course, that one-third wouldn't kick in until your third year membership and meanwhile, a standard monthly fee was between $55 and $65.

The locker room is deplorable. Thefts are rampant. You cannot put anything down. I made the mistake of leaving my shower bag out and they stole that. What would someone want with my toothbrush!?!?!?! The thieves have purposely broken the $.25 lockers so you cannot use them. And Bally's has done nothing to replace them. The free weights are in the basement, but some of them are on the 4th floor.... more

PLEASE DON'T sign up for a Bally's membership. They care only about making money; not about your health. I spoke with a trainer at the Walnut St. Bally?s who seemed to have an interest in my personal health. I was skeptical about getting into a contract, but he reassured me that I could cancel if I wasn?t satisfied, but it turns I can't. He flat out lied to me! It turned out he just wanted to... more
