Boomers Bar-B-Que means slow smoking meat over low indirect heat produced by burning wood. We use locally grown apple wood combined with Mesquite and pecan that infuse our meats with a high level of flavor, aroma and texture. I only get to Portandf once a year and Boomers is always my first stop. They haven't lost a thing in five years. Juicy and taty burgers every time! My family and I had a great lunch at Boomers. They had a lunch menu that was really inexpensive and the portions were very generous. The three of us ate for less then 25 dollars and we were stuffed! Best pulled pork I've ever had. Definetly a repeat for us.
