I have been going to Baldwin's for years and I think it's the best kept secret for haircuts. Their haircuts are only $5 and they compare well to the best haircuts from salons in Austin. You can ask for an experienced student if you are unsure about hair school cuts, too.
They have remodeled the school and it looks almost like a nice salon. The students are friendly and Rick is the best manager...

I received tons of compliments on my last haircut, and when I told these people I had paid $5 (plus a tip) for it at Baldwin Beauty Schools, they were shocked. I have had friends and co-workers go since then, and all of them have been pleased. It is true, you could have a true beginner cutting your hair, and some of them are very cautious.
