Horrific Customer Service
The long wait the day of my mammogram was one thing....investing 1.5 hours for a basic mammogram was annoying but not enough for me to discourage people from going there.
The fact that they sent me a LETTER to tell me I need additional tests run rather than picking up the phone and talking to me ---- THAT is another matter.
A LETTER to say call us to schedule another appointment.
A LETTER to say not everything on your mammogram is clear.
A LETTER....not a call.
I was astounded.
I called. 4:20pm. Pressed the option for appointment and was directed to "general mailbox" voice mail. Left a voice mail explaining I needed to schedule a second screening.
At 4:55pm called again. Same result. Leave another message.
It is now the following business day - almost noon - still no call back.
I have placed another call ---- to another Imaging Center in town to schedule an appointment -- not only did they answer the phone, they were very helpful, listened to my concerns, answered my questions in a caring manner and got me scheduled. And I DID inquire what they do when a mammogram isn't 100% clear --- they CALL their patients.
A mammogram result that isn't 100% clear is scary enough without being treated with complete disregard by the imaging center you're working with.

Every one at the Womens Imaging Center are kind and compassionate. Taking the time to explain my proceedure to me in detail and answering all my questions. The tech helping with my proceedure even held my hand. The doctor was wonderful and stayed with me through everything. No other doctors have done that for me before. Wow!! Thank You!!

I had a great experience at WIC. Dr. McAleese was highly competent and caring and the staff was professional and extremely friendly and comforting to me. An experience which is often pressure-packed was made pleasant, if not enjoyable. I would recommend WIC to anyone in need of a mammogram or bone density testing.

I had a wonderful expreience at The Women's Imaging Center. Dr. McAleese and her staff are great. I do not like going to the doctor, but they made me feel warm and comfortable. They answered my questions and I left feeling confident that I had found a great doctor. I will recommend Dr. McAleese to my friends and will be back to see them next year.
