Information about this business (5)

A superb destination for highly authentic, modestly upscale Afghan dining, a chance to sample rarely encountered dishes with exotic names like aushak, mantu, bulanee, kadu and gulpi, though beyond the wonderful Khyber Pass names, the dishes lean towards many kabobs served with delicious rice.

Authentic Afghan Cuisine

Offers art, lighting, decorative items and furniture.

Azeen's Restaurant Review

Afghan cuisine is an undiscovered joy, not readily available throughout L.A. Those who like Persian, Indian or Pakistani cooking will undoubtedly find something of interest on an Afghan menu. I have never liked lamb, but the lamb here is delicious! Their kebabs are also very tender and flavorful. Great place for a date night or gathering with friends.

Leisurely Friday night meal of wonderfully prepared Afghani food. Attentive service. Spare but comfortable decor and seating. Balanced menu featuring savory but lightly spiced dishes of lamb, beef, chicken, veggies, and mounds of rice.

One of our group has food allergies. The server was very helpful in pointing out foods she could eat and what she could not. In addition several dishes were modified to fit her needs. The butternut squash and lamb were terrific. The pudding for dessert was outstanding.
