Autumn Leaves is a great independent used book store. You can always find lots of bargains an unexpected deals. Located on the Commons, it's not a big box book store. Many books tend to be scholarly, at the college or grad school level. There is also a lot of poetry, foreign and local NY history here. Don't expect to find Oprah and Daniel Steel books until they are past the expiration date. There is a comfy coffee shop upstairs with WIFI if you want to relax for a bit when you are done shopping.

Downstairs is a great selection of used books including a section on local Finger Lakes regional history. Upstairs is a friendly cafe with baked goods, tea, coffee and free wi-fi.

My partner and I were visiting Ithaca for a day, and, knowing Ithaca's reputation for used bookstores, spent a good portion of our day's wanderings perusing different "book barns." We stopped into???
