i came here because of the good reviews, and i was not disappointed. they were very good at keeping me up to date on my repair. i have to take one star away, because they could not fix my car right away because they were very busy. they are also not open on fridays, which is kind of a drag. their work was great, and service was awesome. just call first to make an appointment. i'll be coming... more

I called this place as it claims to be a mazda specialist for a tune up on my 1992 well-running mazda miata. I was told that they do not service cars older than 10 years at all!!. It's like a doctor saying he only treats 20 years-olds. They cannot be very proficient if they can only work on new cars.

my check engine light went on and i took my car in to sf autoworks. they read the code and told me what it was for no charge (other places charge at least $50 for this) and told me to come back if it went back on. it did, so i made an appointment for 2 days later and they read the code again and figured out what the problem was-- it had to do with my stereo, so they referred me to a reliable... more
