Initially everything seemed great with the purchase of this used car 0n 12/13/14. The dealer stated that there was a 1,000 mile 30 day power train warranty which as a single woman is why I bought the car for a higher price from a dealership. After owning the car for less than two weeks, I was broken down for the first time. This problem was not properly fixed. I immediately noticed that there were issues with the transmission shifting and after driving for just over a week after getting the car back from the initial issue drove it a hour back to the dealership during which time I received a flat tire. After having a temporary tire placed on the vehicle I drove to the dealership.
The dealer stated on this date (1/8/14) that the car did not have a warranty. When purchasing the tire there was another individual there who was witness to the salesperson stating there was a warranty. The individual took the auto for a drive with the temporary tire. He drove the vehicle 55 miles per hour with the temporary tire on and stated there was nothing wrong with the transmission as it showed hesitation as it was between gears and then abruptly jerked into higher gears. He stated that was good and that this writer should worry when the vehicle did not shift gears. This writer stated that the car did not drive like this initially and were aware that transmission issues could temporarily be masked. He then stated after stating that nothing was wrong, this could be done by placing the vehicle in and out of reverse to free oneself from snow... a contradiction to nothing was wrong. He appeared to be intimidatinghe drove the vehicle fast with the temporary tire fast and had a condescending/rude tone. He contradicted himself multiple times.
Upon returning home I took the car to have the tire replaced. I was told that 3 tires were balled and dangerous. Furthermore I was told the car NEVER should have passed inspection and that I could have been injured. I sent a registered letter to the dealership. These people are crooks and I have reported them to numerous places and am considering legal action. PLEASE be aware; beware!!!

I must say this is one of the best family-owned dealerships in the nation! I have shopped all around WNY in person and online, and when it comes to the face-to-face dealer to consumer relationship these guys make you feel at home, and like family! Can't wait to go back and pick up my dream car. Five star operations in my book! This dealer gets my A+ seal of approval!!
I've had an awful time buying my car from Auto Max. I just bought the car a few days ago, and since then, have not nothing but trouble with the employees there. Their customer service is nonexistent. I felt like they wanted to get my money as soon as possible and they were willing to be dishonest with me to do so. The car has some major problems that I didn't notice until the day I bought it....
