Great business. Always do great work.

Me and my wife have had Dan an his wonderful wife take care of our car 2 times in one year. Each time they have done a great job. They also did my Nissan Frontier and returned it to me better then the factory paint job. Perfect job every time.

My experience with Auto-Graphicks.

Impressed with their website because of their restoration services. So I got an estimate for some minor repair. A pushed-in body panel and some minor paint damage near the right rear bumper on a Nissan Rogue. Well I was told that the bumper would have to be removed and the panel would be painted from the bottom all the way to the roof line which would end at the front windshield so the paint would match as a whole. Ok understandable. Well after 5-6 days I received the vehicle back and I went home. So I really had a good chance to look at the car. But something didn't look right so I returned to the shop right then and there. I vaguely notice a boundery line of paint where it's not matching right. Only a person with an eagle eye and a perfectionist would notice it and the average person would not. I was told by the shop that it was a Primer line. HUH? If the whole panel was painted why is there a so called primer line. Well the shop preceded to tell me it was the result of the dent repairs in that area. This was even though I only had a slightly pushed in panel. Personally I dIdn't feel dents. Well my mom's car had a similiar repair some time ago at a dealership and there was no primer line and she had a major huge dent. I also noticed that a nick I created while cleaning the car before bringing my vehicle in was still there. I showed them since the whole panel was supposed to be painted and I was told that the shop just missed that spot. Wait a minute? The reason I chose this shop was because they had great restoration services on their website and examples of cars they've done. Either the panel was painted as a whole or not. Hence you would think no paint chips or primer lines. When I see these car restoration shows on cable tv, isn't the whole reason is to return the car to it's orginal condition therefore no paint chips? So I was wondering if my whole bumper was removed as I was told during my estimate. So I looked and saw this chip of paint that I always knew was there whenever I cleaned it. If the whole bumper was painted then this surely should not be there. Personally, I paid nearly $900 for this repair and these chips on my paint that were there originially should have disappeared. The people working there are amicable and nice enough but I expected more from their restoration field. Only reason I did not go to the dealership is that they didn't have classic and antique automotive restorations which I thought was a good service to have, but I guess I just needed regular body work. I was never offered to get that tiny paint chip spot that was missed on my vehicle fixed even though it should have been gone if that area as a whole was painted. Likewise the bumper still had an orginal paint chip. Just my observations. The shop did offer to use fine grit sandpaper and a buffer to remove the primer line after a few days in the sun. Moreover, If I let it cure in the sun, I was told it would disappear that way too. Anyways, this was my experience and I hopefully am not nit-picking but when your vehicle is kinda new and only a year and a half old, You usually know every little nick and scratch. So I am still at that stage where I still notice things. On top of that, there is some bumps under the paint job as if the company painted over some grit or dirt particles. You can actually see and feel it which turns me off to say the least. Not good!

I had to pay nearly $900 for this repair out of my own pocket and everyone is going through tough times in this economy & recession. I feel that I didn’t receive the work that the company explained to me during the estimate. In my opinion, I felt I should not have paid for work that was not done the way they said they would do it. Money could have been saved in helping pay for more baby supplies and food for my little girl instead of me having to see primer lines on my paint job! I got what I paid for, I guess it was an expensive learning experience. (Edited April 27, 2011)

They did the body work and painted my 98' Mitsubishi GSX. I gave Dan a rough picture of what I wanted and he turned it into a masterpiece! The entire team are true professionals and masters of their craft! I'm bringing my Eagle Talon Tsi in this week for another project.
