Locals praise the Artichoke for its service and French, contemporary American, and Italian dishes prepared, whenever possible, with organically grown ingredients. An art gallery as well as a restaurant, this popular spot has modern paintings and sculptures set against azure walls, a hint at the innovative dining experience offered here. The Artichoke Cafe has it all for an intimate dining experience - great food, great atmosphere, great service.

The menu has something for everyone, from sashimi to beef tenderloin, and the wine list is reasonably priced AND well selected. The food was prepared perfectly, and our witty waitress made for an even nicer experience.

Great place to go for a date night, very romantic.

There is a diverse menu and if you are a vegetarian you will find plenty to choose from, if not, the choices continue... more

I had seen the Artichoke Cafe in two travel guides each with rave reviews and decided to try it while visiting Albuquerque. Needless to say I was a little disappointed. The waitress was pleasant to start until we decdied not to order wine or drinks (Extremely overpriced for the selection, they clearly think highly of their wines). We barely saw the waitress the rest of the evening not even to... more
