On Jan 21, 2014 I took in a diamond valued at $8,320.00 with its appraisal and was only offered $200. The man behind the counter said he couldn't offer any more than that because that is what they pay their supplliers and appraisals are grossly inflated. I paid $2200. wholesale for this and knew its value. So I left and took it to an auction house and was paid $6000, close to its retail value....
