So, the kids weren't impressed with the botanical garden or the Native American artifacts at the Heard Museum. Bring 'em here. They can spend the afternoon pushing buttons, turning knobs, and otherwise interacting with all kinds of cool science exhibits. The Arizona Science Center is very fun as well as very educational! They have some wonderful exhibits. We have been about 10 times in the past 3 years and are always very impressed. Our children are preschool age and we weren't too sure they would enjoy it, but they had a great time. They had a Sesame Street exhibit about the human body that was specifically geared for small children, which was incredible ...

While the museum did offer a few interesting exhibits, it is not conducive for small children. They had one area for preschoolers that was dirty and not well-stocked. I found all the exhibits a bit dirty in fact. There were several school groups there (despite it being summer); it was way too crowded and rambunctious for my 2-year-old daughter to enjoy. Went for the 2nd time to the Science Center with the intention of seeing the Body Worlds exhibit. The exhibit was nice, but there were still too many people
