The Mesa Southwest museum is very much a natural history museum with a variety of attractions that range from dinosaur skeletons and displays, an Arizona art gallery, prehistoric history area with adobe huts, old prison cells, an area to pan for (fools) gold, rocks and minerals and meteroites, a children's activity room, and various other attractions. The Mesa Southwest Museum is a neat little museum with a lot of interesting things to see. They have a lot of displays to catch a child's attention including animated dinousaurs, there is also hands on stuff. It is a good place to take your child to learn about history.
