Unfortunately there are no good liquor stores in Denver, and Argonaut is no exception. Although they are usually much cheaper than the mom-and-pop stores around town, you cannot walk in, buy some brew and expect to drink it once you get home. Argonaut Liquors is the Wal-Mart of Liquor Stores. Conveniently located on Colfax in Denver, it has one of the largest selections of liquors, wine, and beer available in Denver. Additionally, the prices are great! A bottle of wine that is $20 at a local wine bar, $12 at a different liquor store, was only $7 at Argonauts.
