The owner came and sat at our table to greet us, which was quite pleasant. However, what followed was anything but. He smelled of alcohol and cigarettes, and instead of greeting us and letting us enjoy our meal, he tried to engage us in conversation for the duration of our stay, much to me and my daughters annoyance. Loved the decor and service was outstanding; owner made sure our special needs were met. Western omelet was excellent but I probably wouldn't have the Biscuits and Gravy again. The gravy was "good" but I (personally) like more seasoning in my gravy. If I ever go to Menomonie again, I would definitely go back here.
Visited here for brunch with a couple of old high school classmates. We were chatting for a couple hours but never felt rushed. The food was good, with fresh ingredients. This is not a "coffe house" though. But that was fine with us. The only improvement I'd suggest is the addition of wifi.
Definitely a keeper!
