Considering that it's in Anniston, AL (which isn't very nice) it's a really nice museum. I wouldn't make a special trip to Anniston just for this, but if you're nearby it's worth a visit.
Visited this museum and found incredible exhibits of natural history, both flora and fauna. The animal exhibits are presented in context. The museum is great for kids and families.
The museum was filled with all kinds of taxi-dermied animals and a few mummies. They were fairly interesting, but I didn't see anything special about this museum that I hadn't seen in any other natural history museum. The price was reasonable to get in. Be sure to get there by 4:30 PM because they don't let anyone in after that...
With an admission price of only 5 and 6 dollars this beats the movies! Without getting too lengthy, they have a bit of everything. Kids loved it!

The Museum exhibits over 2000 natural history items ranging from a pre-history, lifesized Albertosaurus model to a preserved African elephant. An Alabama wildlife garden, nature trails and much more for the whole family to enjoy. Located near lodging and restaurants.
