Over the last 22 years Tom has expanded the business to include the most famous breakfast in town, several neighborhood cafes and Ann Sather Catering is renowned for its wedding receptions, banquets and deliveries.the other additions to the Ann Sather family have been on a smaller scale and known as the Ann Sather Cafes. The cafes seat approximately 25 to 50 people depending upon the location....

Pork-free barbecue is on offer at this kosher joint in Lakeview that plates house-smoked chow for lunch and dinner (it closes early on Fridays and isn't open on Saturday); decked out in green tiling and distressed wood, the space includes a communal bar, booths and banquettes, and all profits go to charity.
"Insanely good" cinnamon rolls "overflowing with glaze" are one of the "highlights" at these breakfast and brunch "classics", where "consistently good" Swedish-American "comfort food" comes in "large" portions; the "traditional" "old-school diner"-like environs can get "crowded" on weekends, but service stays generally "friendly", and affordable prices help seal the deal.
I've been to this location twice for lunch and was not impressed.While I see a lot of rave reviews for breakfast, I would not go back here for a business lunch. Environment - Basic. Not very comfortable. Service - AverageLunch Items - Below Average. The salads were nothing special, and featured processed meats and iceberg lettuce. It's OK. There are better options.
Sooooo......the cinnamon rolls drive me wild. The glaze that's slopped on them is heavenly and they're always nice and warm. I hate to admit this, but sometimes, we order extra to take home.......not a good habit to start.The other food at Ann Sather's is pretty tasty. I've tried the country decadence …
