I grew up without pets due to my sister's allergies so without a lot of experience or knowledge about dogs I was very anxious when it came to getting my first pup. I decided to use Dr.Storm because both my fiance's dad and grandma had been using her for years. I am so glad I made that decision! Dr.Storm is definitely rough around the edges and extremely blunt- which I can imagine some people might take the wrong way. However, she is also very loving and patient. After my pup's surgery she ended up taking her home with her to her home for the night because she could see how scared she was. She always is willing to give me as much time as I need to ask all my paranoid questions. Also, she has taken the time to call me back when I leave messages with questions on days they are closed. They are always willing to accommodate same day appointments. Knowing I have a vet that I can count on means the world to me since my dog is truly a family member. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to take their pet to a competent and loving Vet.
It was a extremely sad and emotional day when my family and I decided that our best friend and family member Buddy who was over 18 years old, that it was his time. He was in pain and had stopped eating.
We went to Dr. Sorm; AJ phoenix, and without a doubt the most unprofessional, arrogant, cruel, inhumane, unbelievable experience. That sick pig and her inbred brother should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. They rushed us in our last moments with my dog and best friend. She made comments like the situation was no big deal and telling me and my family what to do in nasty b@!%hy ways. She was insensitive and said things when she should have kept her mouth shut. The same goes to her inbred brother who undoubtedly is no assistant to any animal or has any real experience. He's a bum and his inbred sister allowed him to work there. He on many occasions was clueless on how to handle my dog. He was over aggressive and I could see anger in his demeanor when he grabbed my dog before and shouldnt be near an animal. He was telling irrelevent stories, which a wall wouldn't want to even hear, while my dog was now lying there dead. There was no reason for Dr. Sorm or her inbred brother to act or be the way they were. As people in general shouldnt have been that way let alone a veternarian. I strongly suggest anyone and I mean anyone and people who already go there, to never go back. You'll thank yourselves if you listen to me when that horrible time comes and you see how they are. On top of that they are just unprofessional. I love animals and my dog Buddy. To experience what I have with those two sick individuals is unforgivable and completely unecessary. I'd like to wait till they are on their last few minutes in life and give them the same treatment that gave me and my family and more importantly Buddy. He was a GREAT dog with so much love and personality. I couldn't let this type of issue go unknown.
My family has been taking various pets to Dr. Sorm for over 40 years. As a previous reviewer said, she takes a very no-nonsense approach to her work, but she's all heart. I wish there were more doctors like her for humans. :)
I have used this veterinary service for years. The previous poster said that the woman they spoke to was rude then went on to say that "the vet cares more....". How do we know she was actually speaking to the veterinarian and not just the receptionist? Emilie Sorm is a very blunt, down to earth, to the point, minces no words veterinarian so if you want fluff, don't go to her. She is a plain person, and I have never had any issues with her, nor has my brother or my mother. We have had severe medical issues with our dogs and she has been nothing short of stellar. I once brought in a wild rabbit the kids had found in the yard and she took care of it. I offered to pay for what she did, but she declined. She lets you stay with your pet and comfort it when you are putting it down, she cares for your pets as if they were hers. She just tells it like it is, no fluff. Just because you have to follow the rules of an establishment and don't get what you want doesn't make the person bad, you just don't like that it didn't work out your way.. How did she treat your pet? Or were you just calling around looking for cheap meds? I have recommended and will continue to recommend this veterinarian without hesitation..> Again, if you don't want blunt, to the point, no mincing of words about your pet, then don't go to her.

Although a previous reviewer threw a tantrum when she didn't get her way (having the vet open not one, but -two- 4-packs of Advantix to sell only one tube from each), this vet has always been friendly...
