Con artists and terrible customer service.
I am begging everyone to stay away from this place!! I took my kitten there because I wanted a family friendly vet who was close to home. The first appointment the vet and assistants rudely informed me that my older cat who was on a leash was to never come in without a cat carrier. They then made a big show on rushing me and my cat back to a room so I was not breaking the rules. (Which I was never told about) They then made me feel terrible about not knowing things about my kitten who I adopted from a very bad place. I loved the vet and that's why we went back a couple more times. It got worse. The second time we had an appointment they took my kitten to another room to get shots and blood drawn and when they gave her back to me I looked down and my hand was covered in blood. I immediately burst into tears as the tech was telling me that it was normal while handing me a paper towel. The third appointment was for her Spay. They called to ask if we had any questions. I had a lot. They seemed too busy for my questions. When asked for an estimate and a itemized list that was to be done they said all they knew was that it would be between $300 to $600. We loved the vet so much the first visit we decided our kitten would be safe here. We wanted this to be our furever vet. When dropping off our kitten they demanded a down payment of $300 for her to be even looked at. When leaving they told us it was actually only $260 and asked if we wanted the $40 back. We said no because we would just give it back later anyway. When we returned to pick up our kitten the bill turned out to be $632. Way over what we even thought. When questioned about why the bill was so high they claimed that we signed the estimate when we dropped off so we are obligated to pay it. The $175 blood panel turned into $260 and two blood panels. The spay alone was $350. Then the lady taking our money claimed we only gave them $260 that morning for the down payment when we had the receipt in our hands for $300. When asked questions over the phone to get clarity they put me on hold and then never returned. They would answer the phone to only ask if I could be put on hold and then after I said no they did it anyway. The office manager Karen had a tone, mocked me and talked over me. I didn't listen to the reviews and I paid money and piece of mind that my cat and kitten were well taken care of. In our most vulnerable time we got taken advantage of.
Seriously expensive and overpriced. Dr. Kirmeyer doesn't have a good bedside manner and is always suggesting I put my dog on a more expensive medication. Will not be going back.

As always we love the care and great people that work here. Our two Boxers think it is a treat to go to the vet, and it doesn't hurt that they are spoiled when they are there! Will not take our pets any where else.
