I feel very pleased to have a dr. like this in laredo. He has always treated my pets with great care. Its just sad that some owners have to wait to the last minute to take their pets to a vet. If your pet is sick, take them with time and don't wait till the last minute!! Ultimately its always the owners fault if something happens to your pet.

I have taken all of my babies to Dr. Spruill...at times they have been trated by other Drs. that start their training there with him. After reading some of the negative reviews I cannot imagine Spruill turning people away with their sick animals. i would NEVER recommend this vet to anyone. we had just gotten our new puppy Daisy from the Laredo Animal Shelter when after about 7 days, we found out that she had parvo. Dr. Spruill didn't treat her situation as an emergency. all that he did was give us a pedialyte like powder and told us to give it to her to keep her from dehydrating. He never told us how important it was to give it to her... more
