I first visited this amazing church in 1977 and later attended many services in the 80's and 90's. The building itself is awesome and the founder, Aimee Semple McPherson, was obviously quite a talented lady and filled with the Holy Spirit of God. Angelus Temple is such a beautiful place. With Aimee Semple being one of my role models; it was an incredible expirience! The history of the place is astonishing and the church the best!
Actually Angelus Temple had more history than I expected, though I visited about 5 years ago before they renovated. There was an interesting exhibit area on the second floor that had photos with stories and relics from the purported healings that happened at the church...crutches, casts, etc that people took off when they were healed.
