We have selected Andrew’s out of 4 BBB accredited companies to replace the flat roof on our house. Their records in BBB were very strong with no complains. On their website the owner guaranteed the satisfaction and respect to their customers. How cannot you trust all of that?
Job was done by the team of NON-company employee and supervised by company superintendent.
We have ordered tapered Insulation Option ($2520) to divert water to drains and gutters. After work was done, we noted that the roof had two huge spots where water stayed all the time, as well as many small spots. We were told by superintendent that tit will go away after summer sun warms up the roof. After one year it’s still there. We contacted Andrews and they just ignored us.
But this is just a very small part of the problem. Here is the real one. The replace the roof on the deck as well and it leaked all the time. We called them and they finally sent somebody who to look it up. Guess what, that sent us a check for 2 hours that the guy were talking to us, saying that it was our fault that roof were leaking. Anyway, they were extremely rude and did nothing to fix the issue. The owner promise of satisfaction meant nothing. He just sent my request to his manager.
We had many more issues with them – problems with skylines, metal flashing. So it’s just long story of bad experience with company that seems really good on paper.
Anyway, we have submitted the BBB complain and will see if the company will respond. Don’t have much hope though.

In response to the comment posted on 11/2/2010, I am investigating this situation. The description made by the person who wrote this does not sound like Andrews Roofing's service at all. I recently had an attic fan installed by Andrews Roofing. The guys were totally professional and fast, in addtion to being courteous. They even suggest and electrican to hook power up to my fan and he can on time as well. I'm looking to them for my roofing needs.
Customers need to know a few things about Andrews Roofing that is never told to a customer. Sub-Contractors make up 75% of their work force. Most of these workers are ILLEGAL ALIENS FROM MEXICO. These sub-contractors are given magnetic business signs, that say Andrews Roofing, to put on the side of their personal trucks, so that it appears they are Andrews employees and these are Andrews...
