Do not take your car or truck to American Transmission on 15th in Longview, WA. I took my wife's Buick there, they had it for 2-1/2 weeks I was charged nearly $3000 for a transmission rebuild and when I picked it up the transmission was still not right. They had it another 3 days and when I picked it up it seemed fine but by the time I got home it was slipping again.

I have to agree with Richard W. I took my wife's Buick there and after 3 weeks in the shop on 2 separate trips and after paying $2900 in repair bills the transmission still is not right. My wife does not trust the car any longer for longer trips so she has to take my truck instead. Bad for both me and her. I do not trust or recommend Duane and American Transmission.

Duane Todd and his crew are a joke. $2,200.00 and 4 months and all I got was my transmission and transfer case taken completely apart! I had to show up with the cops to just get everything back in boxes! Having to sue the guy after he repeatedly said he would repay the money and hasn't. DON'T GO THERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR CAR!!
