Look no further. If you want to get the highest customer service, with the nicest mattress', then visit Dennis over at American Mattress, Joliet. He knows a TON about the products, explains pricing very well, and is funny and cool. Felt like my friend from the first introduction.

100% in agreeance with the previous reviewer, I was told about 6 times that he was the regional manager (big deal) and that he was going to "call in a favor" to the owner to get me a free bed...

Are they selling mattresses or used cars? The salesman here (regional manager, he told us numerous times) was very high pressure and antagonistic. I walked in, and was greeted by the store manager, Jim. What a joy he was to deal with, all of his knowledge he had about all of the products in his store, as well as the other stores surrounding him. I have never felt better spending money before until I walked into American Mattress. I HIGHLY recommend you go there to purchase your next temper-pedic mattress set.

American Mattress was founded in 1988. Two co-workers from a local family owned mattress company became disheartened after the business was sold to a major corporation.The family owned culture quickly disappeared. Treating customers and employees like family was replaced by big corporate policies. The two friends decided to strike out on their own and create a company with a locally owned culture of friendships and treating every customer like family. The sleep industry had changed over the past 30 years, but the American Mattress brand has never wavered from its original beginnings and remains a symbol for unmatched customer service and the highest quality product offerings.
