I was expecting better. At this time of year, you can pay $105 to play the Club at Amelia Island at the Ritz after 1pm. Wish we had done that instead. This course was very basic, runs along the runway of the airport, so not very attractive. Cart paths need major improvement.

With all the famous courses in the area some don't check out this one. Do it! It's really nice & beautiful! Well maintained & challenging. Lots of sand & water, but fair. We played on a weekday & finished in 3 hours!

My wife and I played a late Saturday round of golf. From the beginning the staff was far nicer than you would usually encounter. The bag drop had two pretty girls rather than the typical grumpy retired man. They were very nice, and when we finished the round wiped down all of our club, even the ones with head covers...

WE have been playing Amelia River for over six years. It has continued to improve and just get more friendly and forgiving all the time. WE will play there often.
