I've been buying my flowers from A.G. since having a less than optimal experience at one of the ""fancy"" flower shops in Portsmouth. Basically, the one in question (and another one as well) look at you as though you're smelling funny if they know or even suspect you're spending less than $200.... Ambrosia Gardens, however, is always down to earth, and whether I've spent a lot of money or just a little (they once made me a very tiny bouquet in a pitcher I found at a yard sale for $12 or so!) they do lovely creative work and treat you like a friend.

When my brother passed away, my family and I were looking for a unique shop to do the flowers. After discussing some ideas with the owner, she created the most amazing pieces! They were simple in colors, but rich in texture and the quality of the flowers were outstanding! I now use Ambrosia for all of my floral occasions. My impossible to please grandmother is bowled over by the flowers every time I get her an arrangement. The flowers always last on average 1 to 2 weeks and look fabulous.
