Al's Plumbing

Don't bother.... keep looking

I was smelling a foul odor around the kitchen sink. After all I could do to find the problem I called Al's. 2 plumbers showed up at my house, looked around at the vents and the wall. They told me I would have to have $2,300 worth of replumbing to fix it. They also said I could get a second opinion but no one would know any better than they did and offered to get me hooked up with a loan that night. I opted for a second opinion. The next plumber crawled under the house to find the real problem, a hole in one of the pipes was causing drainage under the house. He fixed the problem and it was about 10% of Al's estimate. Al's still charged me $95 just to give me the estimate. I called to let them know they failed to find the problem and was told oh well. I didn't even get an apology, let alone any refund of my money for a faulty diagnosis. This mistake would have cost me THOUSANDS of dollars. I wouldn't recommend Al's to anyone.
