Al's is hands down the best burger in arlington. The staff is always very frindley and now you can eat brakefast there. Al still hangs around and makes time to visit with ya.

The food is a little generic. The hamburgers have small patties and the buns are simply what you would get from the market, but the atmosphere is cool. You can sit at the bar and watch them prepare your food or sit at a table and get excellent service. Based on the CitySearch rating, I went to Al's with my wife and a coworker for lunch. The atmosphere was ok. Two of us ordered the double cheeseburger, and my wife ordered a quesadilla. The waitress switched the burgers and gave mine to my coworker. Even though, it's a sit down restaurant, our burgers were wrapped in paper with no plate.
