Filthy room with remnants dog waste everywhere. Asked for clean sheets and pillows. Never received them. Front desk person was nice but overall stay was very disappointing.

More than meets the eye

After going in and out of hotels with no luck, I took to Expedia to book a room for my exhausted family who was visiting Virginia from New York. Upon arriving at the hotel, it was easy to see how modern it was with the jumbo-sized sign in front and the lush lobby. Long on form, short on function

This hotel goes out of its way to look modern, trendy, etc., but its shortcomings are revealed when you look a little closer. No coffee maker or hairdryer in room. Really? One washcloth -- and no hotel staff to bring extra. Had to walk down and get it myself. They should have spent less on appearances and more on being a functioning hotel in this price point.
