I go there to get my guitar strings and such, but like any great music stores in the area, you can also just hang out and try out a guitar off the big wall. It is a great way to try a new ax without all the guilt associated with buying a guitar you will only use once or twice a year.

They also have keyboards, drums, wind and brass instruments, they do repairs, and they give lessons.

Don;t be afraid to talk to the staff they don't pressure you to buy anything.

Allegro music is not the bomb. You can go here to buy sheet music, buy an instrument, get an instrument fixed or get some lessons. Im not really much of a musician myself so Im not really sure about the quality of their lessons. And I also think that the teachers make you buy a lot of books from the store. Allegro Music is a nice local place to purchase musical instruments or sheet music. They have a wide range of instruments available for all types. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They also offer music lessons if you don't yet know how to play music. A good place for those who know or are just learning music.

Allegro Music sells poor quality instruments. I bought my supposedly new Stradivarius Bach from Allegro, and with closer inspection, my trumpet turned out to have numerous dents and scratches!
