Don't every use them. I used them when I had a leak in my water main. The first guy, the boss, I asked if since I had to remove my hot water heater if they could just replace it with an tankless water heater. He said that it wouldn't be a problem and that he would include it in the cost of the job. When every thing was repaired, and I had already bought the new heater the actual worker...
