I had my car washed as normal (I have been there a few times before with no problems) and noticed that they were taking especially long. Usually the guy who finishes the car comes and gets you to get his tip and take your receipt... my guy, I had to go find and he was acting a little weird... I didn't realize till later in the day that my I-pod had been taken from the center console (meaning he had actually opened it and looked for something to take. My 30G I-pod had years worth of downloading on it.
I went back to the car wash and the owner, a horrible, obnoxious little man (who calls himself "Dr Detailer" lol) called me a liar and said that he is not liable because of a poster that he has. So in other words... because of a poster (that you have to search for!) he thinks it's ok for any one of his workers to take anything you have worked hard for and bought with your hard earned money, or even your hard earned money, whenever they feel like it!! I called the police and they created a report, but I doubt the scum that took it will admit it and give it back.
I am so disgusted with this incident and feel totally violated. I don't want them to have an oppurtunity to do this to anyone else.
Please, please help me to boycott this awful place. Tell everyone you know to avoid this garage and car wash, and DO NOT put yourself at risk by allowing them into your car.
Oh, and one more thing... the car wash was also bad...It seemed they were more preoccupied with taking my property!
Horrible service. This carwash is a joke. The manager who asks if you want a carwash is rude and acts like he doesn't want repeated business. He tries to upsell you on an overpriced wash and if...
My vehicle went through the rail and the rail clutched onto my side skirt (BMW 325Ci) and ripped 2/3 of it in half and when I tried to speak to the manager, he told me that he didn't want to talk about it, that it was my fault and that I almost broke his rail (what did I do wrong? He's the one who put my vehicle on the rail and drove it off the rail) and that if I wanted to talk to him, that I should sue him. Did I sue him? No. I am a college student and I don't have the time to file a lawsuit. I am writing this review to warn you, who may be considering this car wash: If you have a vehicle...

My wife owns a 2006 750Li BMW, and she's only ever had it washed at Alfie's. Although it's less than six months old the paint has swirls all over it -...
They did a good job but they were slow. I was on my lunch hour and was late getting back to work. They were not even that busy that day. The car was clean and they did not get my hard to clean wheel clean but for the price, I would not be inclined to go back.
Since 2008, Alfies Place has been providing Washing And Polishing, Automotive from Irvine.
