"Aldo's cafe in Greenport was one of those places. The proprietor could hold his own with the great cafe keepers of Paris. Part chef, part raconteur, part shrink, he told stories, cracked jokes, and commiserated with customers. We felt so at home, so welcome at Aldo's that I started thinking it might be cool to live year-round in Greenport."

While enjoying a visit to Greenport to celebrate Cyn's and her girlfriends' birthday, we smelled an amazing aroma of coffee beans being roasted. We found Aldo's Coffee Co and Aldo at work there also! Fab coffees and desserts and home made biscotti. Bought a couple pounds home with us and they will ship too. Heard they put a Starbucks out...

Strong coffee but so good. Best cappuccino you'll ever have (ask for fresh chocolate shavings). Must stop in Greenport.

Excellent coffee at a price

I absolutely loved the straight-up black coffee I had at Aldo today. It was freshly made from freshly ground coffee that had probably been freshly roasted! The result was a strong and characterful brew that assured me a super-alert drive back to New Jersey! At $2.75, it's pricey. But I have to say I would buy another next time I...

Aldo's is a delicious coffee and pastry shop located right in the heart of Greenport Village. You can smell the enticing aroma as you walk or drive down the block and its always hard not to stop in and pick up a gourmet coffee (made by Aldo himself) and a homemade pastry. They carry a variety of different types of espressos and coffees for all different palettes.
