Aksarben came out to prep my furnace for winter and told me the heat exchanger had cracks in it and should be replaced. The parts were covered under warranty and they wanted to charge me $1,040 for the labor to replace it. I obtained bids from two other contractors for this service, one was for $425 …

Do not call Aksarben for a main line clean out unless you want to spend $400. Other companies will do it for half that. We had to spend $40 for the service call fee bc they seemed reasonable on the phone. It was way higher than anybody else we have had over the years. Last time it was $175 and it lasted …
