It is very warm in this place. Worried me a bit on how well the fish would do in that heat. Scallop shooters tasted great and the chefs deluxe choice...

A stand alone building in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. The restaurant has an menu.and very pleasant atmosphere.

Akebono's is no longer in business in Granite Bay. Haruka Sushi Bar is now located in it's spot. Haruka's is very good, fresh sushi.

Bad service, over priced, poor quality, shut it down

Smallest portion of sushi I have ever seen, not real fresh at all and the service was horrible. Given whats around the area, this place is can't make it. I would rather drive 15 minutes to Mukuni that drive 3 minutes to this place.

A group of us went and enjoyed a wonderful sushi dinner at this little neighborhood gem. While it is not the best sushi place around, the food was good to very good. One concern: we ordered a bottle of wine and it came opened--I never like that! Miso soup was pretty flavorless, but the sushi and tempera dishes all tasted...
