Handsome enough to hold its own inside the Loop, this understated spot brings good sushi, sakes and some terrific cooked appetizers to the far west side. First time here. My friends had raved about it earlier. I had shrimp tempura, a seaweed salad and the caterpillar roll. The food was okay, but I think it could've been better. There was way too much sauce on the bottom of the caterpillar roll. My rice was soaked in it, so much to a point where the rice fell apart when I picked the rolls up. I ate lunch here today and had a Coke, Calamari Appetizer and Crunch roll. The coke tasted funny, and the Calamari was tough, bland and had absolutely no seasoning. The Crunch roll was O.K., but rather small and blah. After spending close to $18.00 dollars, I expect to leave a resturant satisfied. In stead, I had to pull over at the gas station for a candy bar.
