Whoever said size doesn't matter might have had this concert venue in mind. In the case of the Cleveland Agora, arguably Northeast Ohio's most storied rock concert hall, smaller just may be better. Both regional and national acts are booked at the hall's two venues, located about two miles from Cleveland State University. The Ballroom seats about 700, while the Theatre has approximately 2,000... more

The Chevy veers all over the musical highway these days--mid-level national acts range from JGB to Eek-A-Mouse to the World Series of Metal.

Some say this rock concert hall in Northeast Ohio is haunted by the ghosts of Elvis and the Beatles. Spooky! The Agora books some big name acts - living of course - such as Marilyn Manson, Simple Plan and Stereophonics. The Agora, one of Cleveland's true landmarks, was voted the number one rock club in the country by Billboard Magazine.

Besides the tattered interior, the exterior can be equally as rough. Pass on Euclid Avenue parking and enter the venue's back lot located off Prospect.

More than a few times, you'll get a rough ride and a distorted sound system, but... more

The Agora is a fabulous place to see a show, especially if you're going to a show in the theater. It's one of the only general admission venues I've been to that has different levels on which to stand. Short people rejoice! You are far less likely to get stuck behind that tall dude with the giant head at a show at the Agora! When you add in concerts featuring great independent bands, you get a... more

I love being at the Agora Theatre, especially during a sold-out theatre show. The style of the theatre is beautiful, showing its history. The staff is young and friendly. Definitely should be voted #1!! Every seat is a good seat and it is intimate, unlike Blossom, The Beachland, and the Odeon.

Word on the street says that this place is dead, which is a shame, because this concert hall is great. Like the Goldilocks preferred porridge of rock and roll, it was neither too big or too small; it... more
