I would not advise anyone to go to Affordable Dentistry Today. I had a family member who went for a cleaning. His teeth had not been cleaned in three years. He used a coupon that had been mailed to us for X-rays and cleaning for about $50. They said they were so bad that they couldn't clean them and he needed gum surgery to the tune of over $1000. We sought a second opinion and the dentist said there was absolutely no need for gum surgery and his teeth were able to be cleaned for $150. I called to have my 6 month cleaning and got a headache and the run arond! They don't care how much you them that's not what you want or that you can't aford their fees. They even tried to scare me into believing that I had gingivitis. Needless to say I still didn't get my cleaning and never went to my follow-up appointment. I canceled it and they called for a week trying to get me to come in. Our experience here was HORRIBLE! If you like spending time at used car lots, then go here as it was very much the same feeling. They will try and sell you all kinds of 'extras', and you won't even be able to get what it is that you ask for. Money is tight and we tried to go here just for a cleaning. They told us what the cost of the visit would be up front, but apparently even though it's the only thing we asked for on several occasions, this did not include the price of a cleaning in that.
