Help us make it rightI called Panasonic first then they told me to call Advisory TV. They charged me $243 just for a TV diagnose!
They checked my TV for about 3-5 min. then they said that they'd charge $550 to replace a digital board for service and parts. I called a different store and they say that the home diagnose service is only $60. I will never call Advisory TV again.
This company use to be the exclusive service provider for BestBuy for items under warranty. As of Jan 09 Bestbuy is no longer outsourcing this work but is keeping it in house via Geek Squad, not a moment too soon. There service providers are incompetent and their administrative staff are simply not truthful. They will do everything in their power to avoid admitting that they cannot fix your item. They came to my home on over 6 occasions, replaced 4 major parts of my tv, took the tv for 2 weeks to fix it in house after already coming to my home on 4 occasions and consistently lied to me...
I am an ex employee of this shop and they are the worst people ever. The managers would sit all day to think of different ways to reject the claims. They would always tell the customer they are not liable and then take the money from the manufacturer.
You should check out all the small-claims lawsuits against them.

I initially brought in a Pioneer 5-Disc DVD Theater system for repair. The volume kn0b (I apparently can't say kn0b like a 'doorkn0b' according to city search as it is 'inappropriate language'...what about douche ya friggin' doucheb@gs?) was apparently stuck on 'low' so that the volume was always displayed on the screen and it would not come up past 0. Simple fix, right? Maybe elsewhere, not here. After an initial quote of $80 (I paid $70 for the unit on eBay) plus cost for 'any additional parts' I was told it would take 2 weeks (check the other reviews here...this is their boilerplate...
I had to deal with the customer service department and they were miserable. They were always passing the blame around and running me in circles for two months in order to get my TV fixed. I would avoid doing any dealings with this business at ALL costs. I mean NEVER. ZERO STARS
