What the community has to say about Adairs Saloon

Information about this business (4)

Remaining loyal to the original bar design, Lee Harvey's kept the wood-paneled walls that showcase various classic, illuminated beer signs - some of which are older than the typical Friday night crowd. But don't let the Friday night partiers fool you - Lee Harvey's clientele isn't limited to in-the-know hipsters. This South Dallas bar is home base for all kinds. Hungry? The kitchen's open 7...

What more can you ask for? Adair's Saloon has come to be known as THE PLACE for the best burgers. Adair's also offers Fries, cheese fries, chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches and more. You won't leave here hungry.

If you are looking for a down-home kind of bar, try Adair's Saloon. It is a honky-tonk bar with graffiti on the walls, a jukebox, and pool tables. Regulars come decked out in cowboy hats and boots ready to eat awesome burgers and drink beer. The bar also serves mixed drinks. Live country bands perform on the weekends. Adair's attracts a business and tourist crowd along with country-clad regulars.

Nestled in a neighborhood of the Cedars/South Side area is a staple in the area with a familiar Dallas name: Lee Harvey's. The giant outdoor patio always has a fire going, hence the instantly recognizable campfire smell that may or may not leave with you. Inside is one of the finer jukeboxes in the area and the small space inside is very comfy in a local dive bar kind of way. The real gem here...

Best Place for lunch in Dallas.

The food at this bar shames most restaurants in Dallas. The Roadrunner sandwich has amazing artisan bread from Empire Bakery complements the avocado and basil/garlic marinated grilled chicken breast perfectly, and the Romaine salad as a side is consistently fresh and tasty. The burgers and blt with avocado are also quite good. Its not packed for.lunch because its a bar, but check it out. My...

Business description (18) view all

Best Nightlife, Live Music, Bars, Pool / Billiards: Although Deep Ellum arguably functions as Dallas's cutting-edge district, parts of it maintain a long-standing commitment to simpler times. Take, for example, a honky-tonk like Adair's, which has been popular since 1963. The digs (in the early days, it was on Cedar Springs Road) and faces may have changed over the years, but other aspects...

Adair’s is a fantastic place. They have great live, local music, cheap beer, and a wonderful selection of locals for great people watching. You can dance or write on any surface that is within reach. Really, just ask for a sharpie at the bar and feel free to disparage anyone you like. Good luck finding an open space, though: Even the ceiling is full of handwritten prose. And once you’ve had...
