I've always been a chocolate cake girl, and my husband's always been a pie guy. But after Achatz's pies, I think I've been converted! I worked next door at Krogers as a Food Demo person, and I always ended up next door for a piece of pie. The BEST Mixed Berry pie ever. The Cannoli pie was better than a cannoli. The Cherry is Great!

The cherry and apple pies have a light flaky crust and not too much sugar so the fruit is what you enjoy. Infinitely better than gooey, sugary pies usually are. They also have homemade soups which we'll try next visit. Large, small and pies by the piece are available.
