We arrived with a gift certificate for this restaurant, and had called ahead to make sure they were open. When we got there, the manager was gone, the employee working there said only the bar was open and we couldn't use it because we had kids who were not allowed in, and they would not honor the gift certificate. Didn't even get to try the food

The restaurant is attached to a casino. That's all well and good, but obviously the casino allows smoking. Again, fine with me, but the non-smoking section of the restaurant was no more than 10 feet from the casino where all the smoking was happening and there was no partition or doors to even somewhat block the smell from coming in....

A nice place for a good meal

Mesquite is a small town with limited options, so finding some well done barbecue gave a nice option. The restaurant is tucked inside thhe small Stateline Casino. It has a simple but rather large non-smoking eating that is isolated from the noise and out of sight of the casino.
