Picture this: It's Friday night and you've had a long day, you've committed to a birthday dinner with friends, you squeeze your fat swollen feet into a pair of size 9 wedges, and you're ready for...

In the land of authentic Mexican food, Acapulco is just "okay". Nothing on their menu is really new or exciting, and I feel that local places do a better job serving up delicious Mexican food. However, with its location, Acapulco is a good place to grab an affordable dinner before watching a movie, and their happy hour deals are pretty good. Plus, you can't go wrong with 2$ Margarita Monday.

Save Money

On Mondays, house margaritas are $2.25 until 10 p.m.

When to Go

Mondays tend to draw the college kids, while Tuesdays are more popular among an older clientele. Other nights are more mixed.

The best spot in the house is table #36, also known as The Library. Comfortably seating 5 people, it is separated from the rest of the dining room by rich wood paneling and old-fashioned shelving.
