For years, this "charming" seasonal Orleans "treat" "has been consistently above average", putting out "excellent" and "unusual" Eclectic seafood from a "quiet", "lovely Cape locale" with a "small" bar and patio; as for the service, the "friendly" staffers do a "fine job."
Several quite good bistro-like meals here lately have made AOG one of my favorite places on the lower Cape. Low profile, not ostentatious, pleasing food, we leave feeling great!
We were on the Cape for Veteran's Day Weekend and were looking for a nice yet not too expensive meal. We found it. Very nice place. Only think I woulds say is that since the summer people are gone, the median age goes WAY up. My wife and I are in our early 50's and we were the youngsters of the room.
We had our Thanksgiving meal here this year. Service was great, food delicious, and it was quiet--- seems they know how to manage sound, unlike most restaurants.
